Measuring devices
  • A measuring dezice “Laser” is great for getting to know your exact distances with every club photo 1
  • Just point it at the target and press the botton, you have to hold it very still, I use the Bushnell Tour photo 2
  • The device will measure the exact distance you have to the flag, bunker, bush or anything else you need to know about the golf course photo 3
  • I still use a yardage book from the course when playing in a tournament, this helps me with my routine, taking my time to assess every option before committing to the shot
  • Knowing the exact distance to the target has to be a big advantage and will limit hesitation during play
  • Not taking your time to consider the best option before playing the shot is probably the only disadvantage with a measuring device in tournament golf
