Rotation of arms & release drill

  • Holding a football in your hands in the golfing posture position, face a wall sideways on PHOTO
  • Rotate the upper body and release the ball into the wall
  • When you release at the correct moment the ball will come straight back into your hands PHOTO
  • When releasing too early or late you will loose direction PHOTO
  • This is good practice to get the hands, arms and body rotating and releasing at the right moment at impact.
